By November 2021, Myanmar's domestic private enterprises had invested more than kyat 22 trillion

In the fiscal year 2020-2021, including the capital increase of investment projects, the Myanmar Investment Committee approved 61 investment projects in the private sector, with an investment amount of about 1171.8 billion Kyats. The private sector has invested in industry, hotels and tourism, aquaculture and aquaculture, housing construction, transportation and communication, power, agriculture and other service fields, including 937.5 billion Kyats in industry, 84.3 billion Kyats in hotel and tourism and 68.2 billion Kyats in other service fields. The investment project provides 13670 employment opportunities for local residents.

It is reported that in order to promote national economic development and meet national construction needs, the Myanmar investment committee invites domestic and foreign investors to invest in 8 types of projects, including chemical fertilizer, cement, steel production, agriculture and animal husbandry and related industries, high value-added food production, electric vehicle manufacturing, medicine and medical materials production, and public transport.
